An exceptional example of a WW2 British & Commonwealth India Pattern No.1 Mk.III bayonet complete with its original scabbard, presented in remarkably well-preserved mint condition.
Manufactured during the Second World War for use with the famous Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE) No.1 Mk.III rifle, this India Pattern bayonet was widely issued throughout British and Commonwealth forces across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific theatres.
This example features a clean full-length blade with an excellent untouched finish, crisp markings, and strong original grips. The accompanying scabbard is equally impressive, retaining its original fittings and showing minimal signs of age or use. A superb collector-grade piece rarely encountered in this condition.
