Description
Rare Antique WWI Plain Brass French Feudor Tax Stamped Lighter
Offered for sale is a rare antique French Feudor petrol lighter dating to the World War I era, featuring a classic plain brass body with original French tax stamp detailing. A fantastic and increasingly hard-to-find piece of early 20th century smoking and trench art memorabilia.
This compact lighter displays a beautifully aged brass patina developed over more than a century, giving it outstanding authentic character. The side retains its decorative “Feudor” branding and tax stamp panel, an important feature for collectors of early European lighters and tobacciana.
Feudor was one of the notable French lighter makers of the early 1900s, and examples from the WWI period are becoming increasingly scarce, particularly in such untouched original condition.
