An exceptionally rare and highly collectable antique French foxhole trench lighter dating to the World War I era. This fascinating piece is an original Éclair 75-30 lighter featuring its period tax stamp and classic compact trench design, carried and used by soldiers during the Great War.

Constructed from brass with its original woven cord wick extension, these ingenious “foxhole” or “trench” lighters were prized for their portability and reliability in harsh battlefield conditions.
