The Hong Kong 1 Cent note has an interesting history. First introduced during the Second World War due to a shortage of coins, the design continued in various forms until 1995. The 1971–1981 issue is particularly popular with collectors thanks to its portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, compact size, and unusual single-sided design.

Ideal for collectors of:

  • Hong Kong banknotes
  • Queen Elizabeth II memorabilia
  • British Commonwealth currency
  • World banknotes
  • Small and unusual paper money
  • Asian numismatics
